George Bernard Shirley Jr., 76, of Greeneville, passed away Saturday at his home.
He was a life member of the Veteran of Foreign Wars.
He is survived by his wife: Jeannette Shirley; four sons: George Bernard Shirley, III, John C. (Melissa) Shirley, Daniel (Katrina) Shirley, and Raymond (Nancy) Shirley; a daughter: Belinda Walker; grandchildren: Jeannette (Robert) Stephens, Lisa Sine, Earl Sine, Kaylee Shirley, Andrew Shirley, John Shirley Jr., Heather (Jamie) Dean, Cheyanne Shirley, Christopher Shirley, Alana Shirley, Tyler Shirley, Tristan Shirley, Raymond Shirley Jr., Bradley (Kayla) Shirley; 14 great-grandchildren; three sisters: Peggy Pickeral, Debbie Chandler, and Joyce Shriner; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by George, Sr. and Celestine Shirley; and a grandson: James Sine.
A military graveside service will be Jan. 23 at 3 p.m. in Mountain Home National Cemetery.
