KINGSPORT - Georgia Pauline Stallard, 92 of Kingsport (formerly of Rye Cove, VA) went to be with the Lord on December 25, 2024 at Asbury Steadman Hill Assisted Living following a brief illness. I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Miss Pauline. I had her at Rye Cove Elementary. Love and prayers for the family.

I loved this precious lady and have never forgotten her. She was my first grade teacher at Rye Cove Elementary. The year was probably 1963-64,as school was still in the old school building. I can still smell those old oiled floors and i remember the little store inside the school that sold pencils,paper,erasers and candy. I was so upset with starting school,Ms Pauline went into that store and bought me candy to help calm me. She was always the same sweet lady,kind and caring ,my best teacher and I'm sure all her other students would say the very same thing.
