GATE CITY, VA - Gladine Drexie Gibson 81, Gate City, VA passed away, Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at Ridgecrest Manor, Duffield, VA.

Gladine was born in Scott County, VA on July 10, 1943, and was the daughter of the late Cardus and Della (Scalf) Bledsoe.

In addition to her parents, her son, Jimmy Gibson, sisters, Sue Bledsoe, Christine McNutt, and brothers, George Bledsoe, Shirley Bledsoe, and Loyd Bledsoe preceded her in death.

She is survived by her daughter, Annette Dingus and husband, Billy, Gate City, VA, son, Jeff Gibson and wife, Brandi, Rogersville, TN, grandchildren, Sara Johnson and husband, Aaron, Melinda Carter and husband, Jimmy, Melissa Gibson, Robbie Qualls, Chris Qualls, Brandy, Brandon, Jessee, and Emily Gibson, Mikayla Helm and husband, Jeffery, Madison Dalton, and husband, Wyatt, fourteen great grandchildren, sister, Geraldine Hammonds, and brothers, Ray Bledsoe and Lynn Bledsoe, along with several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 10, 2025, at Holston View Cemetery, Weber City, VA. with Evangelist Ray Bledsoe officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Family and friends are asked to meet at Holston View at 10:45 a.m., for the graveside service.
