Mr. Simmons was one of the most kind and loving person I have ever met. He helped other Eagle candidates and me with our entire Eagle Scout process. He also benefited my Eagle project because he gave me resources I couldn´t even think of. He was a big part of our troop and we were lucky to have him. He will always be in our hearts
Please accept my deepest condolences.

Our sons, Norman and Thomas Jacob, Eagle Scouts in Troop 36, were very sorry to hear about Mr Greg Simmons .
There are some things we´ll never forget-Mr Simmons insisting that every wall dimension and furniture be measured in their bedroom be precisely measured for their Architecture merit badge!
And Mr Simon´s endearing way of reciting the closing Scout chant off-key in a different cadence than anyone else!
My husband Norm and I will miss Greg Simmons greatly.
Our daughter Sarah, in Birmingham AL, sends condolences to his daughter Elizabeth.
Greg Simmons, as BSA Committee Chair guided Troop 36, boys and Scout leaders, church and parents with great common sense and wisdom.
Greg cared for our Scouts right up through our last Monday meeting, preparing more Eagles to soar!
We´ll miss you!
Heather Jacob
