Gregory Stoots Obituary

JONESBOROUGH - Gregory Wayne "Greg" Stoots, 71, of Jonesborough, passed away on Monday morning, April 24, 2023 at the Johnson City Medical Center. He was born to the late Dee Kyle and Althea Jane (Dodd) Stoots.

Greg graduated from ETSU with a Bachelor's Degree. He spent most of his life in Charleston, SC where he worked in the restaurant business and also worked as a tour guide. Greg loved his family and animals very much and was an avid historian.

In addition to his parents, Greg was preceded in death by his sister, Marsha Bonnell.

Survivors include his brother, Larry Michael Stoots (Ruth); niece Jessica Zazo (Chris); nephews, Joe Stoots (Sarah), Jonathan Daniel (Angela); great-nieces, Charlotte Stoots and Harper Daniel.

Greg's final wish was for cremation and no services to be held.
