GATE CITY, VA - Helen Lyons passed away Sunday, March 2, 2025, at Nova Health and Rehab, Weber City, VA.
Helen was born in Scott County, VA on September 7, 1946, and was the daughter of the late Charles Howard and Laura Frazier Lane.
In addition to her parents, brothers, Billy Ray, Ernie, J.D., Gary, Danny Joe, Glenn and Mike Lane; brothers-in-law, Wayne and Earnest Folden; sisters, Bea Lane Kilgore and Loreen Folden preceded her in death.
Surviving are her sons, Timothy and wife, Rhonda Estep, Lynn and wife, Amy Estep; grandchildren, Adam Estep, Julie Carrol and husband, Christopher, Sydney Ison and husband, Matt; great grandchildren, Alexis Carrol, Bentley Carrol, Kyleigh Ison; brother, Charles "Junior" Howard Lane and wife, Anita; sisters, Geraldine Folden, Linda Kay Folden; sisters-in-law, Carol Lane, Dory Lane, Linda Lane, Mary Lane and Brenda Lane; along with several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 7, 2025, at Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Robbie Dockery and Rev. Joe Townsend officiating.
Burial will follow at Frazier-Ashworth Cemetery, in the Sloantown Community, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family wishes to extend their special thanks to Nova Health and Rehab for your love and care of Helen.

Helen and I worked together for many years. She was a dedicated worker and her smile brightened the room. I remember Helen with very fond memories. I offer my utmost condolences to her family.

Oh how I loved Helen, Will never forget the good meetings that we had ,She was beautiful inside and outside. Loved those pretty fingernails and her bright lipstick ,I am going to miss her.
