James Patrick (Pat) kelly, 79, of Knoxville passed away after a periodof declining heath, Wednesday, September 9,2025 with his wife by his side.
Pat was born May 22, 1946 in Kingsport,Tn to the late Aloysius William Kelly and Blanche Graham Kelly. He attended St. Dominics, Ross N Robinson and was a graduate of Dobyns Bennett High School. He studied history at University of Tennessee and East Tennessee State University.
In addition to his parents, Pat was proceeded in death by his brothers S Graham, and Michael B, and sister Mary Elizabeth Combs.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Patricia, son Patrick and daughter Michael.
Those who knew Pat will remember him for his infectious smile and overwhelming laughter. He had a gift for making others smile and laugh, leaving a lasting impact on all who crossed his path.
A celebration of life will be held on St. Patrick's Day, March 17,2026.
