Jason Boyd Obituary

HENDERSONVILLE, NC - Jason M. Boyd "Boyd" of Hendersonville, NC passed away September 21, 2023 of a sudden heart attack. He was born June 24, 1974 in Johnson City, TN to Janet W Bullis and the late Larry M Boyd.

Jason, or "Boyd" as he was known to friends, came to Hendersonville twenty-nine years ago to work at a Youth Camp. He fell in love with the area and decided to make it his home. He had a passion for animals and loved spending time outdoors, especially with his son, Roan. He loved camping, hiking, rock climbing, cycling, golf, skateboarding and tennis to name a few. He was also very artistic. He loved drawing animals and nature scenes. Jason was always a hard worker. According to his boss he was always the first one on the job site setting up for the day.

In addition to his mother, Janet Jason is survived by his son Roan L. Boyd, stepfather Donald R. Bullis, several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Jason was preceded in death by his brother Blake Bullis, grandmother Elsie Sells Wagner, grandfather Harold Wagner, grandmother Virginia Bullis, grandfather Raymond Bullis.

A Celebration of Life will be held on October 15, 2023 at the Edneyville Community Center, 15 Ida Rogers Dr., Hendersonville, NC at 2:00 in the afternoon.
