KINGSPORT - The community of Kingsport mourns the loss of Jayne Miller-Fritz (63), a treasured wife, mother, professional, and friend. Jayne passed on February 10, 2025 surrounded by loved ones at Vanderbilt University Cancer Center. Jayne is survived by her husband Mack Fritz Jr. of Kingsport; daughter Alexandra Hodge (Justin) and their son Jacob of Sale Creek, TN; brother Ross Miller (Kim) of Williamsburg, VA; and niece Lara (Miller) Bayles and her daughters Joanna and Cate of Bel Air, MD, along with many other nieces, cousins, friends; and her beloved dogs and cats.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jacob and Joan Miller. In her honor, donations to animal welfare causes or the gift of blood donation to your local blood bank are greatly appreciated. Her family welcomes all of those whose lives Jayne touched to a Celebration of Life on Saturday, March 29,2025 from 12-4 pm in the HP room at the Foundation Event Facility. (620 State St. #1003 Bristol, TN 37620).

Jayne was so wonderful to help my students and I navigate and improve their daily hearing/listening/processing needs. I had searched for her to see if my students could drive further to find her. I thought she moved facilities. I was so upset to learn she had passed and still cannot believe this. When I searched for her again, I found she had died. I am so sorry, as I only knew her as in her work, but loved her for the way she treated all of us who came her way.

Max and Alex I´m so sorry. I loved Jayne. She was such a good friend. She was so good and kind to me.
I´m sorry I just found out today and missed the Celebration of life.
She loved you all so much and her puppies Prayers for the family. I love you all. Christine Hammons
