FALL BRANCH - Jimmy Ray Snodgrass 77, of Fall Branch went to be with the Lord on March 3, 2025. He was born in Kingsport to the late Herman and Virgie Snodgrass. He served his country in the U.S. Army. Jimmy worked for Eastman Chemical Company for over 20 years. He enjoyed gardening and raising chickens. Jimmy was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Venus Snodgrass; brother, Thomas Overbay; sisters, Shirley Horne and Pauline Stump.

Survivors include his daughters, Bridget Salyers, Crystal Littleton and husband Chris; son, Cody Snodgrass; grandchildren, Heather, Ashley, Cameron, Mirranda, and Rebekah; great-grandchildren, Raelynn, Jason, Colton, Taylor, and Jackson; sisters, Charlotte Hite and husband James, and Helen Clemmons

The family will receive friends from 5pm to 7pm on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home in Kingsport. A funeral service will follow with Annie Porter officiating. Music will be provided by Annie Porter

A military graveside service will be conducted at 11am on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at East Lawn Memorial Park with honors conducted by the American Legion Hammond Post #3/265. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
