Joe Anderson age 86 passed away on Wednesday November 5th, 2025, at Church Hill healthcare center.
He was reunited with wife Viola who preceded him in death in August of 2004, his parents Lawrence and Nettie Anderson, brothers Hugh, Billy, Roy and Charles and sister Louise Castle. Brother-in-law Johnny Castle and Sister-in law-Trish Anderson.
Survived by children, Tony (Kim) Anderson, Gary (Melissa) Anderson and Rebecca (Rick) Griggs. Grandson Jesse, brothers Jerry (Carolyn) and Dan (Ruby) Anderson.
And several nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held from 4:00 – 6:00 PM on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jimmy Tipton and Pastor Freddy Freeman officiating. A military graveside service will be held at 9:00 AM on Sunday, November 9, 2025.
The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to his caregivers at Church Hill healthcare center and UT Hospice for the love and care they provided him.
