John Barrett Obituary
KINGSPORT – John Houston Barrett IV, age 55, passed away at Greeneville Community Hospital of a heart attack on Wednesday, July 12, 2023.
John was born on December 24, 1967. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in desert storm.
John is survived by his parents John and Sandra Barrett; siblings, Lisa Manis (James), Scott Barrett (Carrie), and Angela Ward (Kevin); as well as several nieces and nephews.
Military honors will be conducted by the American Legion Hammond Post #3/265 at 1:00 PM on Saturday, July 15, 2023, at Church Hill Memory Gardens with Pastor T.J. Burdine officiating. Anyone interested in attending the graveside service is as ked to meet at the cemetery by 12:45 PM.
Serving as pallbearers will be Indy Blackman, Hunter Blackman, Dylan Bailey, Jackson Barrett, and Spencer Ward.
