Joshua Swanson Obituary

KINGSPORT - Joshua Scott Swanson, 44, of Kingsport, TN, passed away on Monday, June 5th, 2023 at his home unexpectedly.

Josh was born in Arlington, Washington in 1979. He attended Ace's High School. Josh was a jack of all trades and master of none. For 20 years he was a great mechanic and loved to work on cars. He recently moved to the Tri-Cities where he became a trade HVAC technician for LaFayette Heat and Air Conditioning. He was a very skilled and dedicated worker.

Josh was a very loving soul. He was extremely social and outgoing, he made friends with everyone he met. He will definitely be remembered for his smile; he smiled all the time. Josh met Shannon 20 years ago in Washington. They got married in 2012. The past 11 years have been the best years of their life. He also leaves behind his best friend, Mayhem, a loving jack-Russell.

Josh is preceded in death by his parents, John and Luanna (Spencer) Swanson.

Josh is survived by his wife, Shannon; children, Kristopher and Taylor; brother, Jason Swanson; and his best friend, Mayhem.

A Celebration of Josh's Life will be held on June 14th, 2023 at Trinity Memorial from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
