Joyce Louise Gibson was born July 10, 1944, and went to be home with Jesus on April 9, 2026.

She had a humble loving heart and was faithful to serve the Lord. She was born again at the early age of 7 years old.

Louise was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved the church and worship services. She was faithful to sing and praise her Lord and God. She backed her husband Johnny and was a faithful Christian and wife.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Beaulah Laughlin; children, Regina Kitzmiller and Jamey Gibson; and several brothers and sister.

She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Johnny Gibson; her brother Albert Laughlin, son-in-law Randy Kitzmiller; three cherished grandchildren Jordan Kitzmiller, Kaleb Kitzmiller (Caitlin), Kindra Blair (Logan); and five great-grandchildren, Tucker Blair, Declan Blair, Karsyn Kitzmiller, Summitt Kitzmiller and Boone Kitzmiller.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 12, 2026. There will be service following with Dewey Williams officiating along with Jordan and Kaleb Kitzmiller.

A grave side service will take place on Monday, April 13, 2026, at 1:00 at Oak Hill Cemetery, garden of resurrection.

Louise was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed. while her family grieves her loss, they rejoice in knowing she is now with the Lord her Savior.
