KINGSPORT - Judith Taylor Winegar, 75, of Kingsport, TN, passed away Monday July 31, 2023, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She graduated from Church Hill High School.
Judith served her community for 40 years "behind the counter" at Church Hill Drug Store. She ministered to residents at Brookdale assisted living facility alongside her husband for 25 years and encouraged other cancer patients by volunteering at the Kingsport Cancer Center.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ray Taylor and Eva Bland Taylor Kimbler and her brother Ricky Taylor. Left to honor her memory is her husband of 58 years, Roger Winegar, daughter Nikki Winegar Sanders (Mark), brother Terry Taylor (Karen), granddaughters Laurel and Kaitlyn Sanders, and many relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, honor Judith by performing an act of kindness or making a donation to a local charity.
The family would like to thank those who supported her during her journey.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Cross Connection Church (644 Granby Rd. Kingsport, TN) on Saturday, August 5. The family will be receiving friends from 1pm-2:30pm with a service following.

I thank the Lord for putting Judy in my path. One of the finest Christian ladies that I have ever known.. She would be getting chemo and I getting a blood transfusion and w e talked at length about the Lord and cancer.. To her family, praying the Lord gives you the peace and comfort during this time... I love this lady....
