Schuenke, Kevin Wayne, 60, passed away, Saturday, December 20, 2025. He was born in St. Louis, a son of Wayne Duncan and Marolyn Jean (nee Ficke) Schuenke. He was a retired concrete finisher, and a member of the Elks Lodge. Kevin loved spending his weekends boating on the Meramec River, four wheeling, working on and restoring his many vehicles and motorcycles, all with his most trusted companion, his dog Bear, at his side. And, if there was an available tee time, you would find Kevin out on the golf course.

Kevin was preceded in death by his son, Tyler Wayne Schuenke, his father Wayne, and his beloved dog Bear.

He is the beloved son of Marolyn Jean Schuenke; dear brother of Cindy Schuenke, Chrissy (Mike) Amburn, and Keith (Nikki) Schuenke; proud uncle of Stephen (Kaitlyn) Amburn, Christopher Amburn, Kurtis Amburn, Isabelle Schuenke, Juliette Schuenke, and Charlotte Schuenke; and great-uncle of Abby and Madison Amburn; plus, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family and friends.

Services: Memorial service at the FAMILY CENTER at SCHRADER Funeral Home and Crematory, 14960 Manchester Road at Holloway, Ballwin, Saturday, January 10, 2026, 1:00 p.m. Interment Bethel Cemetery. If desired, contributions may be made to the family to assist in funeral expenses. Visitation at the FAMILY CENTER at SCHRADER Funeral Home and Crematory, 14960 Manchester Road at Holloway, Ballwin, Friday, January 9, 2026, 4-8 p.m. Friends may sign the family's on-line guestbook at Schrader.com.

A Celebration of Kevin’s Life will follow his services on Saturday from 2:30 to 6:30 pm at the Eureka Elks Lodge, 19 West 1st Street Eureka Mo 63025.

I've known Kevin for a long time. He was always smiling and joking. He was a really great guy with a big heart. It makes me sad he struggled so much in his life.
