Lana Castle Obituary

KIINGSPORT - Lana Gayle Castle, 54, of Kingsport, unexpectedly passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2023. The daughter of Jim and Brenda Castle, Lana was born on January 31, 1969, in Kingsport, TN, where she remained a resident throughout her life. Lana worked diligently as a custodian for many years until her health prevented her from continuing to do so. As a proud UT Vols fan, she loved supporting her team and watching football games on television. Family meant everything to Lana; she thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her siblings, nieces and nephews who brought out her talkative and outgoing side. Lana's presence will be greatly missed by all who had known her, but her memory will be kept alive through memories shared by her loved ones.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Mike Castle, Larry Castle, and Gary Castle.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sister, Lori Floyd (Karl); nieces, Kara Floyd, Kimmie Floyd, Brittany Castle and Brenda Castle; nephews, Kenzy Floyd, Drew Blevins and Brandon Castle and special friend, Patsy.

A celebration of life will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport.
