BRISTOL, VA - Myra Beth Sanders Blair, 69, of Bristol, VA went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 2, 2026, at Bristol Regional Medical Center. She was born on November 29, 1956 to the late Glen Edgar Sanders and Freda Catherine Mann Isley. Beth worked at Eastman Chemical Company for over 35 years before her retirement in 2013. She was saved at Starnes Bluff UMC and later attended Copper Creek Baptist Church when her health permitted. Beth enjoyed her animals, flowers, and shopping with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, McKinley H. "Ken" and Hannah Lark Sanders; brother, James Edwin Sanders and wife Donna; sister, Karen Ellington.
Survivors include her loving husband and partner of 39 years, Gary Blair; daughter, Samantha Michelle Kimbler and husband Stacy; grandson, Austin Taylor (Jamie); stepmother, Helen J. Sanders; sisters, Sherry Sanders Oaks (Mike), Tammy Ervin (Huey); brothers, Patrick Sanders, Jeff Falin, Perry Sanders, Brian Hixson (Kim); along with numerous beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The family will receive friends from 4pm to 6pm on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Scott County Funeral Home.
