ROGERSVILLE - Lance Justin d'Rozario, 83 of Rogersville, TN, passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2023, peacefully at home. He was born in 1940 in Burma. He arrived in the United States on the last voyage of the Queen Mary in the late 60s.
Lance loved going for long walks, diving, and swimming. He loved spending time with his natural family and church family. He loved food and watching wrestling with family and friends. He enjoyed the simple things in life. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Lance is preceded in death by his father, Walter Algernon Justin d'Rozario; his mother, Paulette Mellican-Jones; his sister, Carmel.
Those left to cherish Lance's memory are his former wife, Ann Parker and their children, Amelie Walls (Marvin), Samuel Justin Rozario (Betty), Olivia d'Rozario; his grandsons, Wesley and Shaun and granddaughter Daniella; his brothers, John d'Rozario (Sue), Paul, Peter and David Jones, and his nieces, nephews and many friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at East Rogersville Baptist Church, 1100 East McKinney Avenue, Rogersville, TN 37857.
In memorial of Lance d'Rozario please make contributions to The Rogersville Senior Citizens Center located at 407 East Main Street, Rogersville, TN 37857.

Wow!!! I just dont know what to say. I just saw you obituary online and im saddened. I remember you fondly. The grace that you displayed to me so many times, that bright smile that lit up a room, and most of all your love and example towards God. Im glad that your suffering is done and your at peace no doubt with the father. RIP Lance Ill see you on the other side.!!!!

I worked with Lance ~40 years ago at Norris Industries in Duffield. I have many fond memories of working and spending time with Lance. He will be remembered by those who worked with him as a kind and gentle person that was a friend to everyone.... John R
