Larry Gardner Obituary
March 4, 2025
Larry Steve Gardner, 80, entered into the gates of heaven March 4, 2025 after an extended illness. Larry spent six years serving his country in the United States Army and retired after many years of service from Air Gas.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents Garfield & Mary Gardner and brothers Gary & Jimmy Gardner. He is survived by his loving wife Gail Gardner; brothers Phil (Pam) Gardner and Bobby (Debbie) Gardner; Sister in law Brenda Gardner; Sons Tim (Melanie) Gardner and Clint Gardner; daughter Ginger Sutherland; step children Latrell (Willie) Franklin, Kendan (Delena) Kersey, Micky (Heather) Kersey, and Loretta Flores. He was blessed with a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. The Gardner family wants to express heartfelt thanks to all who have given us unwavering support, prayers, and encouragement during this difficult time. Your kindness and companionship have brought us great comfort and strength, and we are genuinely grateful.
A memorial service will be announced and held at a later date.

I enjoyed Larry's friendship during our time as co-workers; he will be missed and my thoughts and prayers are with his family. I hope that heaven has artifacts that he and S.D. Dean can be finding together.

I worked with Larry for several years and he was a great guy to be around. To the family, I am truly sorry for your loss, I know that you will sorely him. I also knew Larry´s father, Garfield, he and S D Dean laid the carpet in my house.

To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. We can´t even imagine what Glory Larry is beholding now in heaven! Many condolences to the family and prayers the Holy Spirit touch and comfort each one. Larry´s memory will forever be a blessing to me and what I remember most is how happy he & Gail seemed to make each other. They were always glowing! Even as a young girl I could see that. Much Love to the family!
