March 31, 2025
Leland Michael (Mike) Holt entered into God's Kingdom on March 31st, 2025 at his home surrounded by loving family members.
The family will receive friends from 2pm to 4pm in the First Baptist Church Atrium on Sunday, April 6, 2025. A memorial service will follow in the sanctuary with Dr. Marvin Cameron officiating. A graveside service will be conducted at 11am on Monday, April 7, 2025 at East Lawn Memorial Park. Honorary pallbearers are Hunter Holt, Joshua Holt, Carter Holt, Ben Holt and Jimmy Fuller. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 10:50am.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Kingsport in support of their community outreach programs.

Mike was a very special person. We went to school together at Blountville. He was very humble and always willing to help anyone who needed it. He was very active in the sports that the school had to offer. Rest in Peace Mike.

Mike was larger than life when I was in high school with him. He was the perfect example of a humble, good looking athletic star at Blountville High School. He was admired by all of his teach for his impeccable manners - always polite and willing to lend a hand to anyone who needed help. I also knew him and his family at church. His mother played the piano, his dad was a deacon and his entire family was always included in all church activities. He married a beautiful majorette -beauty queen who has been on his team for over 50 years. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
