We are saddened to announce that Leonard Gene Trentham, 69, of Cleveland, TN, passed away on November 29, 2025. Leonard, born on May 4, 1956, in Cleveland, TN to the late Hoyt Trentham and Maggie Trentham, was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He will be remembered for his love of fishing, spending time outdoors, and camping adventures. A cherished member of "The Way to Calvary Tabernacle" Church, Leonard touched the lives of many in his community.
Leonard is preceded in death by his parents, Hoyt and Maggie, and his siblings: four brothers-Howard, Boze, Ralph, and Daniel-and five sisters-Bea Trentham, Mary Ruth Wilson, Geneva Martin, Helen Goins, and Hazel Martin.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Marsha "Ann" Trentham; his children: Jerry Lee (Mamie) McDowell, Angie (Jerry Dean) Wilcox, Timothy Trentham, Barbara Hickerson, Maggie Morris, and Lenny "Misty" Trentham; along with 16 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and a special brother-in-law, Jesse Allen.
Leonard's family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Thursday, December 4th, at the "Ridge Chapel" of Companion Funeral & Cremation Service, located at 2412 Georgetown Road NW, Cleveland, TN 37311. A celebration of Leonard's life will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home, with Pastor Gary Breedlove officiating. Leonard will then be laid to rest at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers will be Jr. Hickerson, Dean Wilcox, Jerry Wilcox, Joe Trentham, Terry Breedlove, and Tommy Bottoms.
