KINGSPORT - Linda Kay Wilhoit Egan, 73, passed away January 13, 2024. She was lifelong resident of Kingsport. She was born May 6, 1950, in Kingsport to Paul Alexander Wilhoit and Edith Grace Watkins Wilhoit. Linda graduated from Dobyns-Bennett High School in 1968 and had attended Waverly Road Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her son, Jason Egan; sister, Betty St. Pierre of Greenwood, IN; two grandchildren, Luke Egan and Chloe Grace Egan; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Linda worked in the business department of Kingsport Dental Lab for over twenty years. After retirement, Linda moved to the Indianapolis area.
Calling will take place from 11-12PM, Monday, January 22, at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, 117 E. Charlemont Avenue, Kingsport. Rev. Cleon Wright will officiate a committal service to follow at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest at Oak Hill Cemetery, Kingsport.
Memorial contributions are suggested the Indiana Masonic Home Foundation, 525 N. Illinois Street, Indianapolis, IN 46204. The family would like to thank the staff at Compass Park for the support and care taking care of her for the past five years.
