Marjorie Jean Larkin Nelson

CHURCH HILL – Marjorie Jean Larkin Nelson, 84, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 26, 2026, at her residence, with her family by her side after an extended illness.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026, from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM at Johnson – Arrowood Funeral Home of Church Hill. The funeral service will follow at 5:00 PM in the funeral home chapel.

A graveside service will take place at Church Hill Memory Gardens on Sunday February 1, 2026, at 1:00 PM. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the funeral home at 12:15 PM to go in procession to the cemetery.

Family and friends will be serving as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that memorial contributions be made to Church Hill Community Clothes Closet.

I remember Marjorie as the beautiful young "candy girl" that worked at JCPenney´s candy counter back near the elevators, in the 1960´s. She was always so nice to her customers.
My condolences to all her family.
