CHURCH HILL - Martha Kay Guidry of Church Hill, Tennessee passed away peacefully on October 1, 2025 at home. Born on October 10,1941 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Kay lived a life rich in love, laughter and good food.
Kay and Jerry Guidry Built a beautiful life together. Kay was an avid cook and part owner of Express Oil Change and Tire Engineers.
Kay is survived by her children, Jay and Trish Guidry, Ginger and Randy McCowan; grandchildren, Nick Lewakowski, Brittany Guidry and Fiancé Travis, Eric and Haley Guidry; great grandchild, Ayla Hensley; and her nephews, Chris and Jo Ryan.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 from 5 pm until 7 pm at Carter-Trent Funeral Home in Church Hill. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 7 pm.
Carter-Trent Funeral Home in Church Hill is serving the Guidry family.

Ginger, Jay and family I send my prayers and condolences. So many great memories from pool side to the kitchen. Growing up with Ginger and Jay and sharing parents and life lessons was truly one of my life´s greatest pleasures. From the day we 2 girls met we were like family. Mrs. Kay, I will always remember your beautiful smile and the sound of your sweet laughter. You and Mr. Jerry will forever live in my heart and I was very blessed to have known you both.
