I consider Marvin to be one of my best friends ever. He would call me everyday and see if I needed anything. He was the first person that I saw when I married my husband. I worked with his sister and the Reverend that married Jim and I told his sister because we had eloped. I loved him as a friend and I will always miss him.

I am sorry for the loss of your father. I was with Troop 149 in Church Hill and he was a big help when I started into scouting.

Marvin went to church with my mom and stepfather (Harry- Kathy Broadwater) in Nickelsville at one time and then I was blessed enough to help him while he was at The Blake for a bit.. He was the kindest and most gentle man I've ever known. May he rest in peace and may his family & friends always remember what an amazing human Marvin was! Rest well Marvin
