So sad to learn of Marvin´s passing. Marvin was a guitar player´s guitar player. So talented. I have many good memories of playing through all the hole in the walls in the tri-cities with Marvin in the early 70´s - always with a good chew in his cheek lol. Such an extremely talented picker. Christie and Jane, please accept my condolences. Rest in peace Marvin. God´s getting one fine picker.

I was a student teacher and helped coach the basketball team when Martin was playing. He was very coachable and a great guy.

I was in the band Raven with Marvin back in the 70s/80s. What a talented guitarist and always the nicest person. Although it's been many years since we talked, I am certain Marvin touched many throughout his life. My prayers are with friends and family. God Bless.

Many of my favorite memories from high school include Marvin and his family. He and I ALMOST shared a birthday, mine being the day after his, and we celebrated them together for several years. His family also took me on vacation several times to places I may never have seen otherwise, such as New York City; there we saw the '69 Mets play the SF Giants, visited Coney Island (twice!) and Marvin and I got ourselves stuck in an elevator in a high-rise hotel by playing around a little too much..
I could go on and on here, but will close with this. Thanks for the memories, Marvin, and you rest easy brother.

Marvin always made a person feel welcome in his home. When it came to grilling, he was a master griller! I always enjoyed the conversations we shared. He loved his family and especially Brianna, his granddaughter. The many times he would rearrange his basement for her to ride around on a tri-cycle or other mode of transportation. She could always bring a smile to his face. R.I.P. Marvin
