Mary Corrine Daniels

Mary Corrine Daniels went home to be with the Lord on January 19, 2026, at Holston Valley Medical Center, after a brief illness.

She was born on May 22, 1953, to Charles Daniels and Josephine Crocker Daniels in Norton, VA, where she lived most of her life.

Mary was a devoted mother and grandmother, loving daughter, sister, and friend whose life was defined by selfless care, unimaginable strength, and unwavering faith. A nurse by calling, she dedicated her life to caring for others with compassion and purpose. She set an example for her children and grandchildren through her kindness, integrity, work ethic, and commitment to her family and community. She will be remembered as insightful, wise, and funny. She bore all of her pain with grace and unshakable strength.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Cliff Daniels.

She is survived by her children, Shane Daniels of Kingsport, TN, David Turner of Kingsport, TN, Corrie Turner Adkins (Isaac Adkins) of Kingsport, TN, and Nathan Turner (Louisa Passano) of Cincinnati, OH; grandchildren, Jeanie Brown, Isaiah Brown, Landon Adkins, Katherine Adkins, Myra Turner, and Megan Daniels; three great-grandchildren; stepmother, Ethel Daniels; siblings, Tori Smith (Bob), Katie McDilda (Greg), Eddie Daniels (Teresa), and Fred Daniels (Mary Ann); her best friend of 60 years, Alice Chandler; and many nieces, nephews, and other family members dear to her.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Indian Path Community Hospital, Holston Valley Medical Center, and Suncrest Home Health for the care and compassion shown to Mary and her family.

Services will be held Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Glamorgan Chapel in Wise, VA. Visitation will begin at 12:00 noon, with the service to follow at 1:00 p.m., officiated by Greg Sergent.
