Mary Price Obituary

Mary Josephine Rowley Roberts Price

November 18, 1947 -

February 16, 2026

Mary Josephine Rowley Roberts Price died on Monday, February 16, 2026. She was 78.

Born in Kingsport, TN to Ella Arthur Black Rowley and Joseph Daniel Rowley, Mary Jo received her Associate in Business in Florence, SC, spent most of her adult life in Central Florida, and retired to West Palm Beach, FL.

She is survived by her brother Daniel, her daughters Valerie (Michael), Sarah (Matthew), and Dani (James), her five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. She is preceded in death by her first husband William, her sister Sallie, and her son Joseph.

She was a workers' compensation and personal injury paralegal highly sought after in her field. An intelligent, witty, and loving woman, Mary Jo's beautiful spirit touched the lives of so many people throughout her life and career. She was a "second mom" to many, always there with encouragement, knowledge, guidance, and support. An avid reader, she devoured mystery novels and legal thrillers. She cheered on the Florida Gators and Tennessee Volunteers at every opportunity and shamelessly spoiled every pet she ever had. Her warmth and easy charm made everyone feel welcome in her presence.

A service honoring Mary Jo's life will be held at St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at 10 am. Donations in her memory may be given to the The Parkinson's Foundation or the ACLU Foundation.

We will carry her wisdom, her humor, and her love with us always.
