CHURCH HILL - Micah Dane Simpson, age 46 of Church Hill, entered the glories of Heaven on Wednesday, January 15, 2025. Micah was born on April 5, 1978, in Kingsport, TN to Dane and Barbara Simpson. Micah was a hard worker, and he worked as a lineman for many years.
Micah enjoyed fishing and camping. One of his favorite past-times was floating on the north fork of the Holston River.
Micah was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Odell and Ellaree Phillips; and his paternal grandparents, Paul and Juanita Simpson. Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, Dane and Barbara Simpson; wife, Hilary Simpson; son, Quinton Simpson; brother, Fred Simpson and wife Dawn; two stepsons, Mason and Ezra; niece, Jessica; two nephews, Frederick and Nathan; and many other loving family and friends.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 25, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Carter-Trent Funeral Home Church Hill. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 pm with Wayne Stovall officiating.
Carter-Trent Funeral Home Church Hill is serving the Simpson family.

He lived in house behind my trailer in trailer park when I was a kid and he and family was so nice I had seen him while back at store we talked he was nice as I remembered as kid my prayers with friends and family
