Michael Dykes Obituary

KINGSPORT - Michael Glen Dykes, age 63, of Kingsport, passed away unexpectedly on Monday morning.
He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Dykes, parents Glen and Joyce Dykes of Church Hill, nephew Anthony Ryan Dykes of Chicago, sister-in-law, Rita Dykes of Church Hill, mother-in-law, Nancy Boswell of Greeneville, niece Jessy Boswell of Greeneville, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Ralph and Lisa Boswell of Greeneville.
Michael was preceded in death by his brother Anthony "Tony" Dykes and father-in-law Ralph "Buddy" Boswell.
He worked at AFG Industries, INC. and Cardinal Glass Industries. Michael retired after 40 years in March of 2024.
There will be no formal services. Jeffers Funeral and Cremation Service in Greeneville is in charge of arrangements.

I am so sorry to hear of Mike passing. We both grew up in church at Lyons Park Baptist Church and I also knew Tony. And in high school, I remember him. And Joyce and Glen are just the best. I´m so sorry. Please know the family is in my thoughts and prayers.

I had the pleasure to work with Mike closely for a year. We spent everyday together. I will never forget his smile and his laughter. He brought light to my life and the many others he interacted with daily. He was just a good man and will be missed. RIP
