WEBER CITY, VA – Monnie Belle Quillen, 96, went to her Heavenly home Sunday morning March 3, 2024 at Margie's Meadow of The Village at Allandale.
Mrs. Quillen was a retiree of Tennessee Eastman Company and was a faithful and active member of Oak Glen Baptist Church for over 50 years.
Monnie was preceded in death by her loving husband J.C. Quillen; her parents Walker R. (W.R.) and Ora Russell; brothers, C.C. Russell and R.C. Russell.
She is survived by her special sister-in-law, Mary "Helen" Dolen; special nephew and niece, Charles "Chuck" Dolen, Jr., Linda Duncan and husband David; brother-in-law, Paul "Buck" Quillen; sisters-in-law, Shirley Napier and Norma Quillen; along with additional special nephews and nieces; dear friends, Dale Smith and wife Kathy, George Barbour and wife Peggy, John Deleon and wife Becky and family, Stan Richards and wife Sherry and Sharon Glover.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2 pm Thursday, March 7, 2024 at Scott County Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2:00 pm with Pastor Danny Sykes officiating. Music will be provided by the Oak Glen Singers.
Interment will follow in Holston View Cemetery.
Men of Oak Glen Baptist Church will serve as pallbearers.
