Nancy Sue Mills Harkleroad lived a wonderful life for God and her family from December 8, 1935, until October 24, 2023.
Loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she left us and went to be with Jesus and our Dad (Don).
Dad passed away in 2007 and Mom has missed him so much, now they are together, and all is good.
Mom lived a good life although sometimes difficult when we (Susan and David) were very young and before she met Dad. But Mom always made sure we had food, clothes, a roof over our heads and warm loving arms to tuck us in at bedtime. After 'we' married Dad it has been a wonderful life, and we were blessed to have them.
Mom wanted me to keep this short but thank you Sis for taking great care of her for these past few difficult years and thanks to nurse Christine who made Mom's final days comfortable. God Bless.
If you would care to donate in Nancy's and Don's name to the Westview Baptist Church, 1037 Fairview Ave., Kingsport, TN 37660 it would be greatly appreciated.

I remember Aunt Nancy very well from my childhood - she always had encouraging words for me and I can still hear her voice calling me "sweetie ". I am glad she is with her parents, brothers and sisters and especially my Uncle Don resting in peace. David and Susan - I love you, cousins.
