Nancy Miller Morelock, 90, passed away February 18, 2025. Nancy was born in Hawkins County and attended Whitesburg School through the 11th grade, moving to Kingsport and graduating from Sullivan High School in 1952. She attended Tennessee Wesleyan College and was employed by Sullivan County Schools.

Nancy loved to cook and share her food with friends and family.

Nancy was a member of Glen Alpine United Methodist Church since 1951. She served on all of the committees in the church and served as President of the UMW a number of times. She was an honorary life member of the United Methodist women and honorary life member of the Sullivan Elementary PTA.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Doyle E. Morelock; her parents, H. S. Miller and Laurene Miller; brothers, H. S. Miller, Jr., John Miller and Andy Miller; sister, Mildred Ballew.

Survivors are daughter, Donna Travis and husband, Steve; son, Eddie Morelock; grandchildren, Joshua Travis, Courtney Morelock Sandler and husband, Luke, and Christopher Morelock; sister, Peggy Yow; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be conducted on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. at Oak Hill Memorial Park with Rev. Rusty Taylor and Rev. Lisa Bryant officiating.
