NEWPORT, KY - Esther Jane Morelock, 94, of Newport, KY died November 21, 2025 at the Cold Springs Care Center in Newport. Born June 7, 1931 in Hawkins County, TN to the late G. C. (Cleve) and Emma P. Morelock. Member of the Free Will Baptist Church. Married to the late Jms. Carl Morelock for 48 years.
The following siblings also preceded her in death: Beulah, Woodrow, Hester, Gilbert, and Grover. She is survived by her son, Charles D. and the late Linda Morelock, daughter, Wanda Arey (Steven), five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, one sister, Anna Morelock Head and one brother, Jack (Clara) Morelock.
The circle is almost complete. Graveside service was Wednesday, Nov. 26 at the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Newport, KY
