Nina Ripley Obituary
February 16, 2025
Nina Crawford Ripley passed away peacefully on February 16, 2025, after a short illness.
Nina lived in Hawkins County for most of her life. She resided in the Ross Camp Ground Community for over 50 years of her life. She enjoyed gardening and animals and loved flowers.
Nina was a member of Ross Camp Ground Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Ripley; father, Odley Crawford; mother, Dicey Jane Crawford; all of her sisters and brothers, including Tennessee, Toy, Dora, Fred, Mallie and Preston, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Nina is survived by her nephew, Dana Ripley of Kingsport, her helper for the last many years and by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00 pm on Friday, February 21, 2025 in the fireside room at Oak Hill Funeral Home. The graveside committal will begin at 1:00 pm in the fireside room inside Oak Hill Funeral Home with Pastor Karl Berndt officiating.

Nina and Marion were the most wonderful neighbors we could ever have. We loved them both very much. The hours spent on the back porch and walking in our yards together are such precious memories. Every moment spent with her was a blessing.

Sorry for your loss! Nina's was one great lady and a close friend of my grandmother Alpha Davis. They called each other everyday when they were able. I know they've having a great reunion in heaven!
