GREENEVILLE - Patricia Sue Patrick Arnold, 83, of Greeneville, TN, joined her husband in their Heavenly Home on Thursday, December 14th, 2023. She was born in Marion, NC; however, she resided in Kingsport her whole life. She was born to George W. and Cassie Lee Knighton Patrick and is now reunited with them in eternal rest, along with her sister, Sandra Jean Patrick Moore.
Left behind to hold dear the precious memories of her life are her daughter, Rhondia Leigh Arnold Lightner and her caring husband Randy; as well as her cherished grandchildren, Phillip R. Lightner and his wife Lindsay, and Paula Victoria Lightner; her great-grandchildren, Asher Boone Lightner and Sadie Mae Hurlock; Pat is also survived by her brothers, Larry Wayne Patrick and his wife Linda, and Thomas Lee Patrick; along with several nieces and nephews who will forever treasure her memory.
Patricia, affectionately known as "Pat," was an avid animal lover, with a special affinity for cats. Her kindness and generosity knew no bounds, and she was also never one to shy away from expressing her opinions. She found great joy in helping others, especially her family. Patricia was always ready to provide a helping hand whenever it was needed. Her passion for sewing and her love for reading, particularly old westerns featuring her favorite actor, John Wayne, were sources of personal enjoyment.
Patricia possessed the gift of gab, always engaging in lively conversations with those around her. Her dedication to the children's clinic, where she served as a doctor's assistant and later as an office manager, spanned many years, leaving a lasting impact on the lives she touched. Most of all, Patricia reveled in the opportunity to spoil her grandkids, and the great-grandchildren held a special place in her heart.
A visitation to celebrate Patricia's life will be held on Tuesday, December 19th, 2023, at Trinity Memorial (1221 Stewball Circle, Kingsport, TN) from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Greeneville - Greene County Humane Society, a cause Patricia held dear. Contributions can be made online at gchumanesociety.com or sent to PO Box 792, Greeneville, TN 37744.
Patricia Sue Patrick Arnold's memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her, as her legacy of kindness, generosity, and love lives on.
