KINGSPORT - Pat McCoig, 71, of Kingsport, journeyed to heaven on her birthday, Saturday, March 8, 2025, after a sudden physical and neurological decline. Born in 1954 to the late William and Josephine Price, Pat lived a life full of service to others. After graduating from Dobyns-Bennett, she eventually began her career at the former Courtesy Chevrolet, working there for over 20 years. Pat was of the Methodist faith and attended First Broad Street United Methodist Church. She was a mom, a wife, a sister, a friend, and the very best Nonna. Pat was full of love and is now tending to God's garden.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, William D. Price, Donald "Allen" Price; one niece; and several cousins.

Following Pat's passing, she was joined by her soulmate of 52 years, Lynn Taylor McCoig, three days later.

Survivors include her daughter, Amber and husband James "Matt" Harrison, of Knoxville; special grandson, Taylor Harrison; siblings, Randolph E. Price and wife Toni Burroughs-Price; sisters-in-law, Carolyn Sumner and husband Charles, and Connie Price. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews and cousins, along with special friends, Steve and Judy Almaroad, Allen and Gloria Castle, Sam and Susie Jones, Cheryl Steffey, along with several other friends that she held in her heart.

Services for Pat will be announced at a later date.
