Patricia Ann Rhoads passed away peacefully Friday, May 16, 2025, at Lifecare Center of Church Hill, Tennessee.
Patricia was born April 4, 1941, in Kingsport, Tennessee. She is the daughter of the late John D. Shelton and Lida Mae White Shelton.
She graduated from Dobyns-Bennett High School and attended East Tennessee State University. She worked in many corporate positions.
She was a member of Cedar View Methodist Church for many years.
Patsy, as her family affectionately called her, enjoyed cooking and reading. Her contagious laughter will be remembered by many!
In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her grandparents, John and Lula White and Lon and Laura Shelton; and her nephew, Andrew Mark Smith.
Patricia is survived by her two children, Christopher Lee Rhoads and Stacie Dawn Darnall; grandchildren, Shauna Bear, Desiree Roberts and Matthew Darnall; great-grandchildren, Haven Rogan, Camille Beatty and Zane Roberts; sister, Brenda (Jim) Smith, and her niece, Allison Smith.
A Graveside Service will be conducted at 11:00 am Thursday, May 22, 2025, at Oak Hill Memorial Park in the Garden of Devotion. Those attending the service are asked to meet at the cemetery by 10:45 am.
