Patsy Ruth Morelock October 6, 1941 - September 18, 2024
KINGSPORT - Patsy Ruth Morelock, age 82, of Kingsport, Tennessee passed peacefully, at Holston Manor, on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, following an extended illness.
Born October 6, 1941, in Hawkins County, Tennessee, Patsy had resided in Kingsport, Tennessee throughout her adult life. She retired from J.P. Stevens of Kingsport.
One of her greatest passions was shopping for fashion and shoes. Before her illness, she enjoyed her TV viewing time, and her social and craft activities.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Oakie Morelock; two brothers, Scott Morelock and Lee Morelock; one nephew, Karl Light and one niece, Barbara Light.
Survivors includes one sister, Susie Light; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Lee (Faye) Morelock; several nieces and nephews; one great-niece; great nephews; and one great-great-nephew.
Graveside services will be held at Eastlawn Memorial Park in Kingsport, Tennessee, on Friday, September 20, 2024, at 11AM, with Dr. Bill Sims officiating.
Interment to immediately follow.
