Phyllis Gibson Obituary
November 11, 2025
Phyllis Irene Powers Gibson passed away peacefully November 11, 2025, with her loving daughter by her side.
She is survived by her only daughter, Brooke (Kevin) Graham of Unicoi, TN, and twin grandsons, Kip Graham and Knox Graham.
The family will receive friends Thursday, November 20, 2025, from 6:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at East Lawn Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 7:00 P.M. with Reverend Rick Keller officiating. Entombment will be private.
In-lieu-of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Phyllis' honor to Niswonger Children's Hospital @ [email protected], a service close to her heart for the excellent care her grandsons received as premature infants.
East Lawn Funeral Home and Memorial Park is honored to serve the family of Phyllis Irene Powers Gibson.

Brooke, I´m so sorry for the losss of your mom. Phyl and I worked at the PD (I had the

As an IT support person at the City of Kingsport, I always enjoyed working with Phyllis in the PD. She was very professional, but always friendly to her fellow employees, who thought highly of her. May God bless and comfort her family during this time of loss.

Condolences Brooke and family on the passing of your mom. I knew Phyllis from work. She worked at the Police Dept. and I worked at City Hall across the parking lot. She was a wonderful person and she loved her family.
