KINGSPORT - Priscilla Lopes Mossman, peacefully passed away on October 22, 2023, at the age of 82 in Kingsport, TN. She was born on November 15, 1940, in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Antone Lopes and Eisbella Borrows.
Priscilla was preceded in death by parents; husband Patrick Mossman Jr; her children Patrick Mossman III and Mai Tai Mossman; three sisters; and two brothers.
Priscilla, a devoted wife and mother, is survived by her children, Patricia Hudson and her husband Rick, Lenn Mossman, Vanessa Mossman, and Kathy Mossman; and her younger brother, Vernon Costa. She was also a loving grandmother to Desiree Neely and husband Jimmy, Darlene Mossman, Jennifer Pauley and husband Gary, John Mossman, Rebecca Mossman, Sean Mossman, Riki Larkin and husband Matt, and Wesley Mossman. Priscilla was blessed with many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Throughout her life, Priscilla dedicated herself to volunteering at the Salvation Army and Freedom Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church, where she selflessly served others. Her commitment to helping those in need was truly commendable and will be remembered by all who knew her.
There will be a private family memorial service held at a later date.
