Robert "Neal" Waterman October 21, 1960- May 23, 2024

KINGSPORT - Robert "Neal" Waterman, 63, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 23, 2024.

Robert was born in Kingsport, TN on October 21, 1960, to his parents, Robert Waterman, and Betty Byington Waterman Whiteaker. He was a heavy hauling truck driver for Gillespie Crane and Rigging for many years. He was an avid fisherman and took many trips over the years down to Guntersville Lake in Alabama.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Waterman.

Robert is survived by his son, Robert Waterman II; mother, Betty Byington Whiteaker; sister, Pam Mathews (Mo); brother, Edward "Ed" Waterman; grandson, Wyatt Waterman; and his niece, Angela Mathews.

A visitation will be held from 11:00 ? 1:00 PM on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Wayne Baker officiating. A graveside service will follow in procession following the funeral service to Morning Star Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
