Roy Crussell Obituary

Roy Ralson Crussell November 22, 1941- April 26, 2024

JONESBOROUGH - Roy Ralston Crussell, 82 of Jonesborough, passed peacefully in the early morning hours of Friday, April 26, 2024. Roy was born November 22, 1941 in Johnson City. Having served proudly in Operation Desert Storm, Roy was a member of the Army for 32 years. He was a devoted member of Eastern Star Free Will Baptist Church and loved to sing, lending his voice to several gospel groups over the years. He was a man of a generous and helpful spirit, gladly assisting anyone in need.

Roy was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 25 years, Linda Bernell Crussell.

He is survived by three daughters; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

A celebration of Roy's life will be held Saturday, May 4th at 12:00pm at Eastern Star Free Will Baptist Church (153 Eastern Star Ext, Kingsport TN 37663), with Pastor Kevin Rose presiding over the service. A reception to greet the family will follow in the church's Fellowship Hall.
