Ruth Cross Obituary
INMAN, VA - Ruth L. Cross, 85, passed away at her home Sunday, March 17, 2024. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Appalachia. Ruth loved to cook. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arvil Clyde Cross; parents, Beverly and Hattie Kinkead; son, David Larry Cross; granddaughter, Latasha Cross; sister, Shirley Bolling.
Ruth is survived by her son, Gary Cross; grandchildren, Shon Cross, Courtney Neff, Michelle Cross; great-grandchildren, Morgan Cross, Abby Cross, Caylin Cross, Hiram Day, Lily Neff; brothers, Wayne Kinkead, Garland Kinkead, David Kinkead, Bobby Kinkead.
The family will receive friends from 11 am to 1230 pm Thursday, March 21, 2024, at the Roy A. Green Funeral Home. Procession will follow to Powell Valley Memorial Gardens for a 1 pm graveside service with Dickie Hazelwood officiating.
