Sally Dyer Richard August 26, 2024 Sally Dyer Richard passed from this life on August 26, 2024. Sally was born, raised and lived all her life in the Kingsport and Johnson City areas. She worked at the Kingsport Press, RR Donnelley, Citibank and was working part time at Evergreen of Johnson City at the time of her death.
Sally was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Daniel Richard, her older sister April, as well as both parents. She is survived by her sister, Anita Dyer.
Always passionate about plants and gardening, Sally was a Master Gardener and active for many decades as a Tennessee Master Gardener. She especially enjoyed working on the grounds of the Appalachian Fairgrounds.
Sally was an active outdoors person her whole life. She dearly loved downhill skiing, especially in the Rockies with her husband Dan and friends. From the mountains to the beach, Sally was up for going places and doing things with family and friends.
Sally had a gift for friendship and is survived and mourned by her deep and wide circle of friends.
Her spirit lives on in the many vibrant memories held in the hearts of all who love her.

Sally always had a big smile & an a great sense of humor. I worked with her at Kingsport Press & RR Donnelley. I have fond memories of our daily walks at work. My deepest condolences to Anita. May God provide comfort & strength in the days ahead.
