Sarojini Bala Jahangir October 19, 1957 - July 31, 2024
KINGSPORT - Sarojini Bala Jahangir, 66, of Kingsport, passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2024.
Sarojini was born on October 19, 1957, in Mumbai, India to the late Paresh C. Shee and Laxmi Bala Shee.
She was a deeply devout Christian that loved spending time with her son, family, and friends.
She worked in home health care for over 30 years. She loved caring for her patients.
Her pride and joy was her only child, Thomas A. Jahangir.
Sarojini graduated high school in India and completed college coursework in the U.S.
In addition to her parents, Sarojini was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Rebecca Rowe.
Those left to cherish Sarojini's memory are her loving son, Thomas A. Jahangir; brothers and sisters, Delipe Shee, Shanthi Shee, Ronnie Shee, Chinta Shee, Gunga Shee; extended family, Hannah and David White, Reba Mullins, Steve Alom, and several nieces, great-nieces, nephews, and close friends.
The family will receive friends at Oak Hill Funeral Home on Tuesday August 6th, 2024, from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm.
A Funeral Service will follow with Dr. Phil Hoskins.
An Entombment Service will be conducted at 3:00 pm at Oak Hill Memorial Park in the Chapel Mausoleum.
