ROGERSVILLE - Steven Cradic Sr., 70, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 8, 2023, in Rogersville, TN surrounded by his loved ones. He brought joy to all who knew him with his passion for his family and friends. Steve "Beardy", was an avid hunter and fisherman, having a love of the great outdoors. He enjoyed sports of all kinds. Especially watching his favorite teams, The Pittsburgh Steelers and the University of Tennessee Volunteers.
Growing up in Mount Carmel, Steve was the son of R.B. and Gladys Cradic. He raised his family in Church Hill and retired to Rogersville, Tennessee. He is survived by his spouse, Teresa Cradic; his son, Steven Cradic Jr.(Haley); his daughter, Lindsey Brooks (Shannon); four grandchildren, Elliott, Brody, Aiden, and Vallen; a sister, Debra Compton (Bob); and a brother, Kirk Cradic (Patti). Steve was also known and loved as a step-parent to Justin Turner, a step-grandparent to Madelyn Turner, Lauren, and Jacob, and uncle to Scott Mclain and Daniel Cradic. A devoted Dad and Pappy, Steve will be remembered for his kind, patient, and easy-going nature. He is also remembered by his close friends, Roger, Tug, and Bushhog; as well as a host of loved ones. Special thanks to Taylor Stewart for being a great caregiver.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 12th @ 6:00 pm at Trinity Memorial Centers in Kingsport, Tennessee. Robbie Linkous will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests your thoughts and prayers be with them at this time. May Steve "Beardy" Cradic rest in eternal peace, leaving behind a legacy of love, cherished memories, and echoes of laughter.
