Virginia Crawford Obituary

CHURCH HILL - Virginia (Kathy) Crawford, 76, of Church Hill, went to be with the Lord early Sunday morning, October 19, 2025, at Church Hill Healthcare and Rehabilitation following an extended illness. Kathy was born in Walkers Fork community where she lived for most of her life. She was of the Baptist faith. Kathy enjoyed sewing and quilting.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Ellis and Edith Crawford; sister, Barbara Jackson; two brothers, Ellis Crawford, Jr., Jack Crawford; sister-in-law, Judy Crawford; and nephew, Timmy Crawford.
Survivors include her sisters, Alice Mullins (Benny) of Kingston, Janice Ewing of Church Hill and Judy Crawford of Oak Ridge; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 23, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. Funeral services will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Jon Rogers officiating.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, October 24, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Walkers Fork Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Walkers Fork Church Cemetery Fund, 6460 Lone Star Rd., Kingsport, TN 37660 or to the charity of your choice.
