HENDERSONVILLE, NC - Virginia "Ginny" Halliburton, 77, of Hendersonville and formerly of Kingsport went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 10, 2023. She was born in Dayton, Ohio to the late Dwight and Mary Howe. Ginny was a special education teacher and worked alongside her husband at Halliburton Orthodontics. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Kingsport. Ginny was a loving wife, mother, and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include her loving husband of 58 years, Donald Richard "Bill" Halliburton; sons, Richard Hunter Halliburton and wife Amy and Cory Shae Halliburton and wife Cecilia; grandchildren, Hannah Sloane and husband Chase, Ella Halliburton, Colin Halliburton, Maja Halliburton, and Aaron Halliburton; and her favorite cousin, Leila Reynolds.
A funeral service will be conducted in Hendersonville, NC.
A graveside service will be conducted at 3pm on Friday, October 13, 2023 at Oak Hill Memorial Park with Dr. Phil Sims officiating. Pallbearers will be Hunter Halliburton, Cory Halliburton, Colin Halliburton, Aaron Halliburton, Chase Sloane, Rondon James, and John Bowles. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 2:50pm.
